“Accidentally” Renewed My Soundcloud Pro Account

Soundcloud Pro

Boo! Hiss! Why would you do such a thing?! Haha, easy now folks, I know I’ve said that I wasn’t the happiest with Soundcloud and actually stopped sharing music on there properly for a long time, mainly due to it being a bit of a bot fest. I barely shared any links but I figured after the recent polls, which showed Soundcloud being the 3rd most popular site you go to for your listening pleasure, that I should probably do something about the current state of my page there!

However, from that poll, add to the fact I’ve got a load of music I want to share with you good people, I can’t continue with the free profile as it’s limited to 3 hours and I felt like I was deleting some of my history and forgetting where I came from production skill wise to where I am now.

So, I’ve upgraded again to the unlimited upload account which wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be. I usually compare subscription fees to what I pay for my mobile phone and if it’s a place to hold all my music with music fans then so be it (sorry EMA crew for the blasphemy haha)!

More Music

Of course, this means that more music is available to stream and share on Soundcloud! I’m starting off an upload frenzy now I don’t have to worry about limits any more, starting with a drum & bass remix I did of SPAWN‘s ska original called Skallegro:

I’ve been on Soundcloud a long time, probably about 8 or 9 years when I first started my musical journey as a big kid who just discovered this place existed for the first time after a good friend, Shell (not his real name), told me about it.

I was made up that year in 2011. First discovered FL Studio and just making an mp3 of my music was something I’d been dreaming of ever since I had a really basic keyboard since 1996, then Soundcloud. Funny how times and ambitions change over time hey?!

Be sure to follow my page on Soundcloud – road to 1,000 followers and 5,000 plays this year is on! Thanks to everyone who’s supported my music, let’s get back on the production road!
